July Monthly Market Commentary

In this month’s Market Commentary, Brad Gotto and Tim Holland took a closer look at the economic landscape and investor sentiment heading into the second half of the year. Despite ongoing headlines around inflation, tariffs, and global tensions, the U.S. economy has shown resilience. Strong corporate earnings, steady consumer spending, and a robust labor market continue to support market momentum. AI-driven innovation and cooling energy prices have also played a role in lifting confidence across major indexes.

The conversation also highlighted the recent passage of the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” a significant piece of tax legislation that brings greater clarity to future policy. While not perfect, the bill reduces some uncertainty and offers new planning considerations for investors. With valuations slightly off their highs and the Fed potentially in a position to cut rates, the environment may offer selective opportunities.

Brad and Tim closed with a reminder to remain diversified and long-term focused. While caution is warranted, especially given upcoming elections and global volatility, the overall tone was one of thoughtful optimism as we move through the remainder of 2025.
